Built in 1832 this lighthouse is a local landmark. While here check out the Eastern Point wildlife Sanctuary part of the Massachusetts Audubon.

from Good Harbor Beach, drive along Atlantic Rd on Gloucester's Back Shore.....will come to the entrance to Eastern Point on your left, just before you get to Niles Beach. Turn into Eastern Point and look like you belong there. If guard people say anything, just tell them you are going to the Lighthouse. Parking at the lighthouse, you have a wonderful view of Gloucester's outer harbor, and you can also walk out on the breakwater for a more close and personal experience!

The very tip of East Gloucester at the mouth of Gloucester Harbor. Great walk on the granite breakwater to the Harbor entrance.
