Great sandy beach only about one hour from the cabin - likely the adults wont swim in the ocean but kids will pretty much try anything - great little river for swimming that leads into the ocean

Located a 5 minutes drive from Burnt Point, Northern Bay Sands has two freshwater pools on the northern end of the beach and the majority of its campsites on the southern end. There are two bars, a laundromat, a café and a take-out restaurant within walking distance of the beach.

Northern Bay Sands Park should be a part of every east coast childhood. The North Atlantic may be bracing for most, but the river falls is delightfully refreshing on a warm summer day and the sand will be surprisingly hot on tender bare feet. The Park has an excellent fully serviced camping area. ( Route 70. 3.9 km north)
