your Up for an adventure and some great food a 15 minute drive east out to the tiny ranching town of Creston offers some of the best steaks in the county. Check out the Loading Chute in Creston for fresh ranch to table steaks and delicious seafood and salad. I promise it’s worth the drive especially if you splurge and get the grasshopper pie for dessert. Local tip: go early and stop at the Long Branch Saloon in Creston for a drink. Their outdoor seating is wonderful on warm afternoons. While your there cross the street and check out Creston and Company for local handmade wares, western clothing and hand tooled leather goods.
