The largest Spanish mission church in California, Mission San Juan Bautista has offered daily mass since 1797 —prior to shelter-in-place restrictions of course. Really beautiful surroundings. Try the margaritas at Jardines de San Juan Bautista.

Mission San Juan Bautista is a part of United States history. A major part of the settlement of the American West, this landmark is worth seeing on any trip up the California Coast! The city of San Juan Bautista is also a great place for authentic Mexican Food.
