The museum is situated on a 49-acre site at Lathalmond, near Dunfermline and houses about 190 vehicles, most of which are buses. The museum is open every Sunday from the first Sunday in April until the first Sunday in October. The entrance charge includes a guided tour of the site and the storage sheds in a vintage bus, starting and ending at the Exhibition Hall – where visitors can spend as much time as they wish. The Exhibition Hall houses several vehicles and artifacts, and also the museum cafe and shop. Really!! 8 miles away north of Dunfermline. over 100 buses, all shapes. colours and sizes, mostly from Scotland. Usually open on Sundays Spring to Autumn with many transport events also held there. You will be pleasantly surprised. Lots to see. Anoraks not required!! Inside only, hold tight please!!

See over 150 buses at the museum, most of Scottish origin, in different levels of condition from some neglected buses to fully restored vehicles. The museum offers a guided tour of the site and storage sheds in a vintage bus, beginning and ending at the Exhibition Hall, where visitors can spend hours exploring vehicles and artefacts. There is also a café and shop. The museum also hosts various transport related events throughout the year (see website for details).
