Located in the former mint of the city, the museum offers a variety of exhibits from older times, a brief history of the mining activity in the area, a clock collection and an educational sector for the children with scenes with the daily life of different people

This is a very complete museum showing the traditional architecture of the wooden houses and decor around Maramures. I recommend this stop for the first day before going on a road trip to understand the differences and highlights of the culture and be able to appreciate it more during the roadtrip.
