This is our fave place for fish and chips. It is in Cayucos which is only about 5-10 min down the freeway. It is right by the ocean so great views. VERY casual. It is a walk up and order type of restaurant.

The El Moro Elfin Forest in Los Osos, adjacent to the Morro Bay estuary, is a 90-acre natural area belonging to San Luis Obispo County Parks and California State Parks. Its plant communities include coastal brackish marsh, riparian woodland fringe, pygmy oak woodland, maritime chaparral, coastal dune scrub, and oak and manzanita complex. The Elfin Forest supports more than 200 species of plants, as well as 110 kinds of birds, 22 species of mammals and 13 species of reptiles and amphibians. It is home to rare plants, butterflies, snails and birds. Chumash middens occur throughout the park.

If you have time you have to visit the little town of Harmony population 18... .YES just 18. They have a winery there in the town. We are members of this winery. They have great view, great wines and very friendly. While you are there go walk around the town!! They have a glass making store there you have to check out the chapel.

This is a newer bar that just opened. We love to go by in afternoon for a drink but lots of nights they have live bands in there. If you are in town check out who may be playing so you can get tickets to attend.
