This place gets packed! So, be prepared to wait: sit and enjoy the view. The "California Fusion" style food is worth the wait. My favorite are the carnitas (pork) tacos!

This "whole in the wall" (used to be located in Sunshine Health Foods store) is absolutely delicious, organic and well priced.

Oh, I'm getting hungry just thinking about this place! Thai Bounty is a "mom and pop" place (as are the other restaurants). The owners take exceptional care: clean, fresh and hot!

Duckie's is located near the pier/beach. I like to sit at the counter along the windows and enjoy my meal while people watching.

Located near Hearst Castle. Great food, great location. I also recommend taking a walk out on the pier!

Here's a great place to start... If you want to go for a longer walk or run- I recommend parking at the end of Lucerne (North Cayucos) and going out on the Cayucos Bluffs.

You can't climb it, but you can walk around the backside. Not to mention the wide open beach and the path that leads to the Embarcadero.
