Rice noodle - Hủ tiếu - is a must try
Sa Đéc has a village for making rice-flour, so the rice noodle here is very special.
Local people here like to eat rice noodle soup (hủ tiếu). So you can see dominant number of hủ tiếu food shops around. This is the only place in Vietnam you hardly find a Phở food shop, because Hủ tiếu is everywhere.
The hủ tiếu food shop has to compete so hard to survive. So if you see a hủ tiếu food shop exist for a long time, they must have a secret in their recipe.
Each hủ tiếu food shop usually has their soup taste unique. Some soups take advance of dry-squid, some from sugar-beet, beef-bone..
