This is a great place for a traditional Newfoundland breakfast and is famous for its toutons (fried bred dough) and fish cakes. It is also close to some of the best whale watching in the area. Graham and Bet will be happy to give you directions.

The Fishermen's Museum in Hibb's Cove is a 3 building experience, located in the vibrant modern day fishing community of Port-de-Grave along the Baccalieu Trail. Starting at the Museum opened in 1970 you will see tools, traps, techniques that fishermen in the past used daily, The Porter House built in 1905 is displayed as a typical home in outport Newfoundland, and the third building is the Hibb's Hole School, established in 1853 is one of the very few remaining in the province.

A nice place to take the kids for a run-a-round, to play on the swings, or paddle on the swimming beach. It's a ten-minute walk south on the railbed behind the house and turn left at the third street (Park Ave.).
