Templeton is a small, rural community of 7,700 people. The town was founded in 1886. Historic buildings abound in the downtown area. The town boasts several nice restaurants, shops, and Templeton Park, where a dog-friendly Farmer's Market is held every Saturday from 9am to 12:30pm.
