The property is a five-minute drive to the town of Fermoy with a Supervalue, Lidl, and Aldi grocery store, several nice restaurants and cafes (with outdoor or takeaway dining}, and locations with takeaway, quality Irish ground coffee. Fermoy Town - 2 kilometres from the property and it is ideally located adjacent to the Cork-Dublin M8 Motorway. The River Blackwater separates the village with a beautiful old bridge and next to it you’ll find Fermoy Park. The Blackwater flows through Fermoy Town and is well-known for the superb inland fishing it has to offer.
Make time for a stroll in Fermoy Park. It has a collection of fantastic trees, including a redwood! There you’ll also find a wonderful play area for the kids, a swimming hall and lots of workout/exercise posts scattered around the park itself. There is also a Blackwater trail starting in Fermoy.

This is my husband, John's, Stress Management Center. He is a certified, Qigong (Chinese Yoga done standing or sitting) Instructor, Stress Management Coach, and Energy healer. You can take Qigong lessons or just join the daily drop-in session for a simple to follow guided session and meditation. Energy healings and Tui Na massage are also available. Everything is done right onsite, so you don't even have to drive offsite. John also offers guided "Forest bathing" hikes and his own Quartz healing recreated from a practice believed to have been used by ancient Druid healers right here in Ireland.

Blackwater River Fishing
The property is located minutes from the Blackwater River, which is nicknamed the “ Nile of Ireland.” The Blackwater just below Fermoy is known throughout Europe for its salmon and trout fishing (wild brown trout and seatrout) which is considered one of the best rivers for salmon in the North Atlantic (Canada, Iceland, UK, Norway etc.) According to local fishing guides the Blackwater in prior years was estimated to yield an average of between 5,000 - 6,000 salmon via rod catch each year.
