Travel From Logan - Car
There are a few ways to get to Salem from Logan via car. Unfortunately, traffic patterns can be a bit unpredictable, and your best route option will likely come from a navigation app like Google Maps and Waze. That said, the more scenic drive will be along the coast on Route 1A

Travel From Logan - Train
This bit over an hour, but depending on the commuter rail schedule it could be about 90ish minutes.
Logan: From Logan, take any of the free Airport shuttle bus (Route 22, 33,66, etc)to the Blue Line. Get off at the Airport Blue Line Station.
Airport Station: Don't proceed into the Terminal, along the outside, look for the sign for SL3 to Chelsea. This bus is also free. Get off at Bellingham Sq/Chelsea Station
Chelsea: Cross the tracks to get to the Chelsea Commuter Rail station. Board a Newburyport/Rockport train to Salem. This is $8 per person. Get off at Salem Station.

Travel From Logan - Ferry
The Ferry to the Salem Marina on Derby street Runs May 15 - October 31 (check https://www.cityexperiences.com/boston/city-cruises/salem-ferry/ for full schedule)
Logan: From Logan, take any of the free Airport shuttle bus (Route 22, 33,66, etc)to the Blue Line. Get off at the Airport Blue Line Station.
Airport Blue Line: Take the Blue line Inbound. Get off at Aquarium Station. The Subway fare is $2.40 per person
1 Long Wharf: Make your way to the Boston Harbor Cruise kiosk to the left of the Aquarium, they can direct you to the right wharf for the ferry. This ticket is $22 per adult.
