The beloved Sou’wester Historic Lodge and Vintage Travel Trailer Resort is a hodgepodge of accommodation types including suites in our 130 year old lodge, stand-alone cabins, and a fleet of vintage travel trailers. We are a few blocks from the beach and the Discovery Trail and 15 miles from Astoria, Oregon. Our location in Seaview is perfectly situated to explore the rich history, natural beauty, and lush bounty of the Long Beach Peninsula and the majestic Pacific Coast.
As our new normal continues to evolve we are glad to offer a variety of choices, including self-contained & minimal-contact stays, that will provide you with all the freedom to enjoy a safe getaway.
Our self-contained units have their own bathrooms and kitchens, as well as a separate entrance.
Our minimal-contact units may have common bathrooms/showers with detailed guidelines for safe use and sanitization and /or a shared entrance.

Public spaces including our porch lobby, honor system market, sauna, Thrifty thrift store, outdoor kitchen, pavilion, and wellness trailer are kept well ventilated and sanitized. Snacks, beer, wine, merchandise & gifts can all be purchased at our honor system market with a low contact option of creating a tab for purchases.

Our vintage trailers are each unique and we do our best to maintain them properly. However, small repairs may take some time to address since they are often speciality parts. This is true of our ovens, windows and locks. Thank you for understanding.
