Lajares is a town in the north of Fuerteventura, close to Corralejo and El Cotillo. This is a quiet town with a surf community, best known for it's weekly artisan markets and panoramic views of the nearby volcanoes. There are bars, restaurants and cafes in the town centre, as well as surf schools, a CrossFit gym, and a supermarket. From Outsite, you can reach nearby hiking trails without a car or bike. It's easy to get around Lajares on foot, but if you'd like to explore the island, you can reach surf and swim beaches by bike or by car. El Cotillo has the closest swimming lagoons and surf breaks.
