The property is situated in the area of Kampos, less than 1km from the port, the beach and the town of Chora. There you will find everything you might need during your stay such as super-market, bank, pharmacy, gym, sport center, car rentals, medical center etc. At the seaside restaurants you will taste traditional local dishes, like the famous cheese-pie of Skopelos, with a view of the sea and the beautiful marina of the port. At nighttime you will enjoy your drink at one of the many small bars of the town.
The island offers a wide variety of beaches, organized and not, that are sure to satisfy every preference. Some of them are Chora’s port(950m), Glifoneri(2.4km), Sares(4.2km), Stafylos(5km), Velanio(5km), Agnontas(7km), Limnonari(7.5km) and the famous beaches of Milia(13km) and Kastani(14km). Apart from those, lot’s of small hidden beaches are waiting for you to discover them!
Nature and sport lovers have a wide variety of options available as the area is ideal for water activities such as diving, kayak, sailing, sup and wind surfing as well as hiking and cycling. Don’t omit to visit the North Sporades sea park and admire the rare Mediterranean seals up close.
The island has a rich cultural and historical legacy. Visit the Venetian castle that overlooks the city, the folklore museum with it’s rich collection of exhibits and the Mycenean tomb at Stafylo village.
Combine a daily trip with a visit to traditional spots of the island such as Loutraki port, Glossa village which is the second biggest town of the island, the village of Palio Klima, St. John’s church with it’s incredible view, The rock of Drakosxima and Gourouni Lighthouse.
