No.4 is a 1st floor two bedroom apartment with fully equipped kitchen, including oven and hob, full size fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and all the utensils you might need. Iron, ironing board, clothes airer. The living room has 32"HDTV, DVD player, books, maps and information folder all provided. Free Wi-Fi.
There are solid stone external steps up to the apartment, the apartment has an internal staircase leading to the bedrooms.

The Old Convent was built in 1842 originally as a church, St.Peters chapel. Converted to a convent in 1891 and known as St.Scholastica's Priory until 1922. We have lovingly renovated the building keeping a lot of original features but adding modern touches such as central heating and double glazing!

Fort Augustus is the gem of the Highlands and really has everything; not only is the village beautiful and interesting with the Caledonian canal and locks running running through the centre there are pubs/restaurants, craft shops, visitor centre, grocery, post office, bank and petrol station all close by, (only a 10 minute walk from The Old Convent which is within the village limits). But being geographically centre of the Highlands on the southern shores of Loch Ness makes all areas of the Highlands easily accessible.
