You'll love the feel of our newly built private studio suite. Like a hotel but with more comfortable and cozy amenities including a king-size bed, spa-like bathroom, and washer and dryer. Just a block away from the N. Rampart Streetcar and Frenchman Street and a short walk to the French Quarter. Perfect for a couple who needs a quiet space to return to after a long day exploring. The guest suite is located at the back our 1830s historic creole cottage. While it is attached to our house, it has its own entry and is for your own private use. Entering through the yard means the only contact you will have with our surfaces are locking and unlocking the main gate.

The suite has beautiful heart-pine floors, tall ceilings, and a spacious spa-like bathroom with a soaking tub and waterfall shower. It also includes other amenities including wi-fi, a TV with access to Sling, Netflix, HBO, Disney+ and Amazon Prime. The kitchenette has a small refrigerator with Brita water pitcher, kettle, coffee maker and waffle iron. We provide coffee, tea, milk, butter, waffle mix and syrup.

The suite is located at the edge of the Marigny neighborhood, one of the city’s oldest and most colorful areas. You’re a couple blocks away from the French Quarter, N Rampart Streetcar line and much of the cities finest dining and entertainment.

I am an architect in New Orleans. My husband Daniel and I have a 4 year old daughter and twin 18 month old boys. Daniel operates a mill shop a few blocks from the suite and speaks Spanish fluidly due to daily interaction with his skilled carpenters. We love hosting people in our home and helping to introduce people to the magic of New Orleans!

We live at the front of the home with our toddler and newborn twins. You may see us from time to time and you can choose to interact with us as much or as little as you'd like. You may hear very faint crying at night or our little girl in the mornings but we try to keep as quiet as possible. We are happy to share recommendations on places to eat/drink or sites to see.
