Bus stop one minute from house. Turn left from house, walk a few meters to Charminster Rd. Bus stop faces you, cross the road.
Very frequent, any bus (3 and M1) goes to the stations, the town centre and the beach . A pleasant 15min ride

35min direct line walk to centre and beach.
House in quiet residential road but in 5min you will find restaurants cafes and The Richmond Arms pub. Turn left at house then turn right you will find on the main Rd within one minute the Coop for food shopping. Open late.
Plus Chinese Take away "Wonderful.Kitchen" next to the Coop.
Restaurants as recommended by previous guests.

I have upgraded my home with love and hope that my guests will enjoy the peaceful and friendly atmosphere. I am a volunteer at the Russell Cotes Museum. where I give a short and informal talk about a painting to visitors. Well.worth visiting or just having a drink/delicious cream tea on the beautiful terrace overlooking the sea and the Museum gardens.
In my younger days I was a Tourist Guide and Tour Manager on long distance cultural tours which took me to China, Nepal, India, Japan, Thailand, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon , Jordan and most of Europe. I worked in Switzerland for 2 years.
Now with two adult sons, I continue to travel Montreal. ( Sept 2019)

My other hobbies are reading and walks along the stunning beach of this gorgeously safe resort, plus I like meeting up with friends for a coffee.

Please feel free to borrow any books and spend a quiet time in the lounge overlooking the garden.
I know Dorset very well so please ask me if you need any advice on what to do. I am always glad to help. The award winning beach is excellent with a 40min walk to Hengistbury Head or the other way.to Sandbanks
Or Bus 50 the Breezer from the Coach station ( 1st stand) will.take you to Corfe Castle Old Harry Rocks and Swanage. A dream ! Not to be missed.

with a coach tour or on your own catching the train first to Wareham .
