"Limone” is a three-room apartment on the first floor. There is room for 4 people (plus an additional single day bed in the living room). The “Limone” apartment has two double rooms, two full bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen with a dishwasher. The beautiful private garden terrace belongs to the apartment and offers amazing views to the sea and the surrounding hills.

Chỗ ở
"Limone” is the name of the three-room apartment on the first floor. There used to be a lemon tree in front of the apartment, that froze during the coldest winter in 1984, along with all other citrus trees around the villa. Constantin Polastri's was very inspired by this lemon tree, which you can find in many of his paintings in on of his books. A new tree was planted.

The Villa d'Artisti was founded by the Swiss Painter Constantin Polastri and is perched above the city, 20 Minutes by car, where peace and relaxation provide a welcome contrast to a busy daily routine.

There are various apartments spread over two stories at the villa. The villa may be rented anytime during the year, even in winter. Central heating is available in every apartment and a wood-burning stove is available in the Ginestra apartment. Spring begins in San Remo already at the end of February, when the broom and mimosas bloom and perfume the garden and temperatures reach 18°C.

Just a few steps down the panoramic road is Angela Padrone’s “Alimentari” near the church in the village of San Giacomo, where she has fresh wood-stove bread daily in the morning, a piece of sardenaira (typical Ligurian focaccia with toppings) or an espresso.

Further towards the city, near San Remo’s highly visible landmark, the domed church “Madonna della Costa” that is dedicated to the patron saint of seamen, there is a picturesque trail for walking through “La Pigna”, the old town to “Piazza Eroi Sanremesi”, the daily vegetable and fish market in the market square. The sea air draws everyone towards the harbour and fishermen, where fresh fish is on sale already in the morning directly from the pier.

I love Italy and this house has been a home since I was a child, altough I grew up near Zurich, Switzerland and was born into an Artist's family, we spent a lot of time here, as my father was a painter. I like to share my cultural and culinary experience of Liguria with my guests, in order to have them experience this beautiful piece of paradise. I am a certified yoga teacher since 2001 and apart from this and hosting, I am Graphic Designer/Illustrator and a vinyl collector of the music of the 20s-60s with monthly radio show. Please visit our website to learn more of the history of the "Villa d'Artisti". Villa d'Artisti Born in 1933, the swiss artist Constantin Polastri realized his life’s works at the Villa d‘Artisti. What was once a simple country house with a chicken coop and fields was transformed by his continuous renovations from 1974 onwards. With craftsmanship. handiwork and the help of his wife and friends, who often worked in exchange for a stay at the house or painting lessons, the house was transformed into the villa it is today. Until shortly before his death in 2009, the Villa d’Artisti was his atelier. Constantin Polastri assembled a rare botanical collection in the garden, and this is cared for lovingly today by his daughter Diana Pollastri.
