Welcome to my colourful online art class for kids and adults where we create extraordinary stories using traditional Mexican handcrafts.
In this online experience, we are not only going to tell stories, we’re going to create art that tells a story!
You’ll learn abstract art and collage techniques and explore my culture through traditional mexican art!
We’ll start by painting amazing and personalized papers. You’ll paint with acrylic paints, markers, watercolor or any type of paint that you have at home. I’ll also give you some tips to make textures in the paper and personalize them.
The most amazing thing about this online experience is that you can use RECYCLED paper and material that you have at home. If you don’t have plain white paper you can use magazines, newspapers, old notebooks or anything that you have on hand.
I’ll show you how to create a Mexican scenario full of characters and life. We’ll create a whole new world just with paper! And we’ll get to do it with people from all around the world!
This experience is for everybody but children are always welcomed. If you’d like to take an adults only group session, please message me directly or book a private group.

I’m Sofia, an art teacher with 5 years experience in teaching art classes for children and adults. I studied Design and specialized in Art.
I’m certified by the Montessori Institute of Barcelona with an art degree for children 6 to 12 years of age.
Sharing my culture through art techniques has become my passion! And now I'm a part of the homeschooling community with kids from all around the world.
For me, being an artist is how I express myself.
I teach art in many studios around my city. I've been teaching kids for more than 4 years and
I love it! I am very patient and cozy, and my main goal is to let the kids discover their passion about art in their own way.
I believe that art opens your mind and makes you think in other ways. Art breaks your traditional thought. It pulls apart your feet from the ground and brings imagination

Esta experiencia es muy bonita. Es una muy buena opción para aprender un poquito sobre técnicas artísticas tradicionales mexicanas, relajarse un rato y ponerse creativo.
Además, Sofía es súper buena onda, alegre y una gran host. La historia que cuenta es muy bonita y logra capturar en la experiencia esa magia mexicana. También es muy abierta y te invita a dejarte llevar por tu creatividad e imaginación para crear tu propia obra de arte, lo cual es súper padre.
Sin duda, esta es una experiencia que se presta para compartir en familia (grandes y chicos) y pasar así un tiempo divertido juntos.
