Join me on an exiting hike to Akchour and discover the hidden gems! I offer two different hikes made to fit your abilities and preferences: Option 1 is the "Beautiful River Walk," which begins at 8:00 AM. We meet at Bab Souk and go on a gentle two-hour walk to my father's peaceful organic farm. You'll enjoy a tasty breakfast and a guided tour of the farm. After that, we'll arrange a ride to Akchour (ride costs are extra), a quick 30-minute ride away. And then we start a lovely hike along the river to the famous God Bridge. We could get a Tajin at a local restaurant after exploring beautiful pools for a refreshing swim. We'll finish our adventure with a walk to a waterfall, about an hour away, and then head back to Chefchaouen. Option 2, the "Mountain Adventure," is for those seeking a tougher challenge. We start at 7:30 AM with a demanding day-long 25-kilometer hike, breakfast at the farm. This hike takes us high into the mountains, over 1250 meters above sea level, offering fantastic views and trails known only to local people. Lunch is a simple sandwich and snacks. The challenge here is in climbing steep hills and descending, which can be hard on the knees. Akchour won't appear until around 5 or 6 PM, making this option ideal for adventurers who prefer heights over rivers and waterfalls. If you're unsure, don't worry—I'll help you choose the hike that suits you best.

We will meet in the morning at 8:30am by the front door of the Kasbah that’s in plaza Uta hamam ( there can be changes in time that will suit you ). A taxi will wait for us near the main square ( Taxi fees aren't included) . A private taxi will cost 32$\€ both ways ,considering the taxi takes up to 6 people , while a shared taxi will cost you 3/€ but might include additional waiting for the taxi to fill up . After we get there if we are heading to the the big waterfall that would take us about 2 hours on a normal walk rythm if slower then more, on the way there we will pass by gorgoeus little waterfalls where we could enjoy it by relaxing and having food with our feet soaked in the water . Near each one there are small restuarants that are operated by the locals, where we could get food such as Tajines that are served in traditional plates , Moroccan tea and last orange juice . The time frame from Chefchaouen to Akchour would take about 30 to 45 minutes drive , we stop for rests and swim In addition to the waterfall there's the God's bridge you can look up the pictures on my profile, it's in the same location but a different walk and less time . You are free to pick the best that suits your attractions .

After we meet at "Bab Souk" , we will head straight up out of chefchaouen for our hike in mountains and walk around 40 minutes up hill before stopping to enjoy a fabulous view of the blue pearl in a place overlooking chefchaouen. Then, it will be between 1 and 1/2 hour walk waiting for us along the mountain side, and we may pass shepherds with their goats and there will be a lot of opportunities to stop and take photos of the amazing views from the mountain. As we reach the village of kalaa, we will go to a calm farm that belongs to my father, we will be welcomed with fresh tea with herbs from the farm followed by a tajine of vegetables from the farm, and checken or beef and sometimes fresh rabbit from the farm (if you are vegetarian or vegan, then it will be just of vegetables from the farm). We will spend some time enjoying the village view in the terrace under trees and talk to my father who is a man from this village he has a lot to say about his area and mountains life. From here on we can either walk the 2 hours back to chefchaouen via a new road or go for a ride home by a local mercedes "Taxi".

Join me to this unique experience to discover the beautiful Akchour. After picking you up from your accommodation in Chefchaouen we’ll drive about 40 minutes to reach the village of Akchour. Arriving there we’ll start our short hiking to the bridge of god (a bridge that was made naturally by rocks). We’ll cross rivers, walk through a beautiful valley, and if you like to swim the area is full of natural springs. After an hour of hiking we’ll reach the bridge and there we’ll have a mint tea or lunch -under your needs- After spending about an hour in the bridge we’ll walk back to the village there you can see the organic food market (please note that the area is famous with figs and goat cheese) Afterwards we’ll take the transport back to Chefchaouen and there our activity’s end. Private transportation is provided and included in the price Please note that this activity starts from 8 to 10 Am, And ends by 4Pm.

I will meet you in the roundabout outside the medina in Chefchaouen and we go have breakfast in a local cafe. We will take a taxi to Akchour. Once there we will take photos and hike up 2 hours to the waterfall. It is a gorgeous hike up and down the mountain trail crossing the river several times. We will have tea at the top of the falls. I will bring figs, dates, nuts and water. Tagine is available there. (optional) After taking photos and enjoying our time we will hike back down and take a taxi back to Chefchaouen. Other things to note We take a taxi to Akchour then hike. Need good shoes for hiking up and down hill sometimes rocky and awkward trail. We will start by choosing a dish you would want to make, we are providing a wide variety of Moroccan Tajines to choose from. there's two classes a day one in the morning with the fresh morning breeze, and one in the evening where you'll be enjoying dinner with the most mesmerizing sunset. The location of this experience makes it extra special for so many reasons, the location on the mountain overlooking Chefchaouen's medina, you'll be surrounded by nothing except beautiful nature, once we make it to the farm all guests will have everything they need to make the dish they chose. You’ll be part of our fantastic farm, for the day preparing traditional Moroccan dishes (Tagine, mint tea, grilled dishes, fruits, Moroccan sweets and freshly squeezed juices). This will take place on our family run farm. This experience also provides an opportunity to see farm animals such as cows/ sheep, and you’ll have the chance to learn the traditional way of raising them. After we have prepared and made the food, we will enjoy our amazing feast by sharing it together on our farm overlooking the old city!

In this experience, the day will be devoted to explore and discover the medina of Chefchaouen, and learning about it’s history, culture and daily lifestyle, in addition of visiting the Spanish Mosque to have the greatest panoramic view in town. First After picking you up from your hotel, or your Airbnb accommodation, we’ll start by walking through the hidden corners in the medina which has 7 main neighbourhoods, and 7 Doors. While introducing you to the Andalou-Amazigh history and culture. We’ll be able To visit the main spots to take the most stunning pictures in town, then we’ll visit the Kasbah (the main fortress which was founded in the 15 century), after spending about a 30 min in the Kasbah to see the garden, the towers, and the old prison. We’ll head up to the Spanish Mosque - a lunch Break is provided in a local restaurant under your needs- On our way to the Spanish mosque we’ll pass by the river to see the water springs, the old laundry system, and the orange trees. Akchour is accessible by taxi. a collective taxi costs 2.5 Euro/persons ( one way). A private Taxi costs 30 Euro both ways . (Taxi price is not included ). Along the gorge there are small snacks and possibilities to buy drinks and juices. There are great places to swim. Iam always very happy to be here and would like to show you this beautiful place. The program: Meeting point: at 9:00 in the morning(You can choose the time that suits you),we meet at a Guesthouse Dar Sababa ( Rue Kaiklana Nr 4); or in the square (Outa hamam), your choice. we'll start together. First we go to the taxi station and drive together. After about 35 minutes we reach the parking in Akchour. There are two routes in Akchour: a hike to the waterfalls and a hike to the God Bridge ( both routes are beautiful and take 2.5 hours each ( one way) You can choose between the two routes.
